The Telly Awards has named EventStreams as a Bronze winner in the 37th Annual Telly Awards for three recent videos created for the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter, Emory University, and Novelis. The competition had more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, with only 25% of entries chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.

Our award-winning videos were…

MedicAlert Safe Return: Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter
This video was created to help financial supporters understand how their contributions are put to use by the organization. Contributions to the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association help fund the MedicAlert® Safe Return® program, which is a 24-hour nationwide emergency response service for individuals with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia who wander or have a medical emergency. EventStreams created the concept for this video, as well as handling all of the production services.

What is Vision?: Emory Eye Center
The Emory Eye Center – which includes the Department of Ophthalmology, part of the Emory School of Medicine, its clinical sector and all aspects of research – is regularly asked to talk to the public about Vision Awareness. EventStreams worked with Emory Eye Center to transform their presentation into a video, to concisely convey a complex message. Our work included animating the inner workings of the human eye and shooting B-roll (look closely and you can spot some of our employees in the footage!). The video hasn’t yet been released to the public…but we’ll post this award-winner as soon as we can!

2015 Holiday Video: Novelis
EventStreams has worked with Realm and Novelis for the past three years to create Novelis’ annual Holiday Video. The 2015 video was recorded on location in Greensboro, GA at the Novelis plant and surrounding areas. The video is a follow-along of a Novelis worker as he spends his day at work and with family. The mission of the video is to shine a bright light on the workers who devote themselves to Novelis’ customers and may not be recognized as publicly as they deserve.

About the Telly Awards

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work. Entries do not compete against each other; rather, entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honor. Only about 25% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.
